About Luxury Bangladesh

Luxury Bangladesh is an independent guide to the country's finest hotels, resorts and places to visit. We built it because finding a genuinely good stay in Bangladesh was harder than it should be: star ratings are inconsistent, photos are often years old, and review scores can be inflated by accounts that have never stayed at the hotel.

We want to be the resource we wished we had — the place international visitors, business travellers, diaspora families and Bangladeshis planning a special trip can trust.

What makes us different

• We verify before we list. Every hotel and resort on the site is checked against official sources, recent guest feedback and partner listings. Properties that have closed, been downgraded or stopped meeting our standards are removed.
• We look behind the ratings. We analyse public reviews for patterns often associated with inauthentic reviews and show an adjusted view alongside the headline score. Our review methodology explains exactly how.
• We cover the whole country. Guides for all 64 districts, from the capital's five-star hotels to tea-garden retreats in Sreemangal, beach resorts in Cox's Bazar and the hill tracts of Bandarban and Rangamati.
• We date everything. Facts, prices and ratings change. Each page shows when it was last checked, and we correct mistakes quickly.

How we make money

When you book through a link on our site, the booking partner (such as Booking.com or Agoda) may pay us a commission. The price you pay doesn't change. Commissions never decide which hotels we list or how we rank them — see our affiliate disclosure and how we rate hotels.

Editorial independence

Hotels cannot pay to appear on our lists, to improve their position or to remove fair criticism. We don't accept free stays in exchange for coverage. If a hotel believes something we've published is wrong, it can ask us to re-check it through our contact page.
