Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa stands on Inani beach at Jaliapalong in Ukhia upazila, around 40 minutes' drive south of Cox's Bazar town on the Marine Drive towards Teknaf. The resort covers about 15 acres between low hills and the Bay of Bengal and has its own stretch of beach. It opened in September 2015 as Royal Tulip Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa; the Royal Tulip franchise has since ended, and the resort's own site and the booking sites now use the Sea Pearl name.
Wikipedia counts 493 rooms. Categories run from Superior rooms of about 37 m² with garden or hill views, through Studio King and Executive Suites with sea views, to the Royal Paradise, Ambassador and Presidential Suites, the largest about 230 m² (2,500 sq ft). Facilities include swimming pools (Booking.com lists two, Wikipedia three), a water park, Pearl Spa, a gym, tennis and badminton courts, a 3D cinema, billiards, a ballroom and an auditorium, plus several restaurants and a bar. Because the resort is far from town, most guests spend the whole stay on site, so it suits families, groups and event bookings better than travellers who want to walk to cafés and shops.
