Sonargaon Royal Resort is at Dighirpar in Sonargaon, about 600 m from the Folk-Art and Crafts Museum according to Agoda, so most of the old-capital sights are within a short drive or walk. The building is a sandstone-coloured block with arched windows and balconies.
Trip.com and Agoda list 50 air-conditioned rooms with safes and desks, an indoor pool, a restaurant, a free buffet breakfast (08:30-10:00), a business centre, conference space, free parking, Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. It suits visitors to Sonargaon and Panam Nagar who want to stay overnight rather than make a day trip from Dhaka.
