Ocean Paradise Hotel & Resort is on Kolatoli Road in the Hotel-Motel Zone. It is not on the sand: Wikivoyage describes it as a walk of about 300 m from the beach, and Booking.com puts the airport about 4.5 km away. The hotel began operating near the end of 2011 and, according to its own website, holds a five-star licence from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
Booking.com lists a year-round outdoor swimming pool, spa facilities, a fitness centre, a steam room, a restaurant and a bar, free Wi-Fi, a free airport shuttle, a garden and terrace, badminton equipment, karaoke, themed dinners and live music. The hotel's website lists Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Suite accommodation and stresses food and beverage and a kids-friendly approach. It suits families and groups that want a lively resort-style hotel close to, rather than on, the beach.
